Keller의 ARCS 모형에 따른 기술·가정 2 교과서의 ‘자동화와 로봇’ 단원 내용분석

이 연구는 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 기술·가정 2 교과서의 ‘자동화와 로봇’ 단원의 동기유발 분석을 통하여 ‘자동화와 로봇’ 단원 수업의 교수·학습 자료 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 위해 Keller의 ARCS 모형에 따른 동기 방책 점검표(Motivational Tactics Checklist)를 기초로 도출된 동기유발전략 분석준거를 사용하였다. ‘자동화와 로봇’ 단원에서 동기유발을 분석 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주의 집중을 위한 전략은 높은 비중을 차지한 반면, 만족감 증진을 위한 전략은 낮은 비중을 차지하였다. 동기유발전략 분석에서, 주의집중, 관련성, 자신감, 만족감 순으로 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 둘째, 네 개의 전략은 3개의 하위전략으로 이루어져있다. 이 중에서, 주의집중의 하위전략인 지각적 각성 (A1)이 교과서에서 가장 많았다. 셋째, 만족감의 하위전략인 외재적 보상 (S2)이 교과서에서는 별로 없었다. 이 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 학생들의 적절한 동기부여를 위해서 동기유발이 강화된 수업자료 개발에 관한 연구가 필요함을 제언한다.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for development of teaching and learning materials by analysis the motivation of the Automation and Robot Unit of Technology·Home Economics Textbook 2. Using the Keller s ARCS model of Motivational Tactics Checklist, the criteria of motivation strategy‘s analysis is used. Here, developed of teaching and learning materials to enhance motivation will be required for students appropriate motivation. The results of the analysis the motivation in Automation and Robot Unit are as follows; First, the strategies for attention ranked a high relative importance whereas the strategies for an increase of satisfaction was shown as comparatively less importance. In motivation strategy‘s analysis, it was found that the important order of elements of motivation was sequenced in attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. Second, each four strategies is consisted of three sub-strategy. Of these, perceptual awareness(A1) of the Attention sub-strategy is most frequently in textbooks. Third, extrinsic rewards(S2) of sub-strategy of the Satisfaction was presented with lowest value of the among the all sub-strategy of ARCS.
