기술과 교사의 교사 자격기준 개발

Development of Standards for Technology Teachers

이 연구는 기술교과를 담당하는 교사의 자격기준을 개발하여 새로운 교사 임용시험에 대비하고 교원 양성과정의 방향을 제시하고자 수행되었다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 국내외의 교사 자격기준 관련 문헌을 조사 분석하였으며, 작성된 교사 자격기준의 타당도를 검중하기 위하여 다양한 전문가들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 또한 기술교사 양상 대학의 교수 및 기술교사 등의 전문가들과 수차례 협의회 및 간담회를 등을 통하여 집중 작업을 실시하였으며, 세미나와 공청회의 과정을 거쳐 각종 의견 수렴과 보완 과정을 거쳐 20개의 기술교사 자격기준이 개발되었다. 이 연구의 결과는 임용고시와 사범대 교육과정 정상화의 기초를 제공하는 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was development of standards for technology teachers. To accomplish this purpose, this study employed literature research and surveys, professional conference and seminars and a public hearing. The major findings of this study are to develop a criteria of 20 standards for technology teachers. The standards for technology teachers is as follows: A teacher of technology must understand the central concepts common to technology content. A teacher of technology must understand and use a variety of instructional strategies to encourage student development of critical thinking, problem solving, and performance skill. A teacher of technology must understand and be able to use formal and informal assessment strategies to evaluate and ensure the continuous intellectual, social, and physical development of the student, etc... The findings of this research could be used as a guideline to test a prospective applicant s readiness to teach as well as a blueprint for continuing research.
