대학생 학사경고자를 위한 진로탐색 집단상담 프로그램의 효과성 탐색

Analysis of the Effects of Career Exploration Group Counseling Program for College Students on Academic Probation

본 연구의 목적은 대학생 학사경고자를 대상으로 진로탐색 집단상담 프로그램을 운영하고 그 효과성을 탐색하려는 것이다. 진로탐색 집단상담 프로그램은 학사경고를 받은 학생 중 교수학습지원센터에서 운영하는 진로탐색 집단상담 프로그램을 신청한 학사경고자 10명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 학사경고자를 위한 진로탐색 집단상담 프로그램은 자신의 진로를 탐색하고 삶의 목표를 설정하고 이를 실천하기 위한 내용들로 총 5회기, 각 회기는 50분으로 구성하여 진행하였다. 학사경고자 학생들의 자발적인 참여를 독려하고 외부자극에 의한 학습동기부여를 위해 프로그램 이수 후 학점이 상승되는 정도에 따라 성적장학금을 지급하였다. 자발적으로 참여한 학생들임을 감안하여 참여한 학생들의 프로그램 참여목적, 기대사항, 요구사항 등을 철저하게 분석하여 프로그램의 내용을 구성하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 프로그램에 참여한 학사경고자의 진로정체감이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 프로그램에 참여한 학사경고자 10명 중 8명의 학점이 향상되어 학사경고에서 탈출하였다. 이러한 연구 결과들을 토대로 대학에서 학사경고자를 대상으로 운영하는 프로그램에 대하여 구체적인 제언을 하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of a career search group counseling program for the students placed under academic probation. The career exploration group counseling program was conducted among 10 the students placed under academic probation for career group counseling program operated by the CTL(Center for teaching and learning). The career counseling program for the students placed under academic probation consisted of five sessions, each session consisting of 50 minutes to explore their career paths, set goals for life, and practice them. The students placed under academic probation were encouraged to participate voluntarily and given academic scholarships in accordance with the degree of increase in credit after completing the program in order to motivate students to learn by external stimuli. Considering that students are voluntarily participating in the program, the content of the program was analyzed by thoroughly analyzing the purpose, expectation, and requirements of the participating students. The results of the study are as follows. First, the career identity of the students placed under academic probation in the program significantly improved. Second, 8 out of 10 the students placed under academic probation improved and escaped from the bachelor s warning. Based on the results of these researches, I would like to give some specific suggestions about the programs that operate under the bachelor s warning system in the university.
