Development of a Measuring Scale for Nursing Student’ Self-test Competency on Medication Activity

본 논문의 목적은 간호대학생의 투약활동에 대한 간호술기 역량을 스스로 평가할 수 있는 척도를 개발하고 이에 대한 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구는 측정도구개발에 대한 방법론적 연구이다. 연구대상자는 세 지역의 간호학과 4학년 간호대학생으로, 투약활동에 대한 자가평가 역량의 구성요소를 확인한 후 도구를 개발하였고, 개발된 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검정하였다. 예비문항은 총 23개 문항이었고 전문가 집단의 내용타당도 조사가 실시되었다. 최종적으로 개발된 도구는 5개 하위요인을 갖는 19개 문항으로 공통 6개 문항, 근육주사 3개 문항, 피하주사 2개 문항, 피내주사 4개 문항, 정맥수액주입 4개 문항이다. 수집된 데이터는 IBM SPSS Statistics 24 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였고, 개발된 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도가 검증되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 간호대학생 및 신규간호사의 투약활동에 대한 간호술기 부분에서 자가평가 및 중재연구의 효과를 측정하는 주요 사정 도구로 향후 활용이 가능할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a self-test scale for the competency of medication activities of nursing students and to verify the validity and reliability of the scale. This study is a methodological study on measuring instrument development. After identifying the components of self - test competency of medication activities of nursing students, we developed the scales and verified the validity and reliability of the developed scales. Participants were nursing students from the nursing departments in three areas. The preliminary question was 23 questions and the content validity survey of the expert group was conducted. The final scale developed was 19 items with 5 sub-factors, 6 items common, 3 intramuscular injection, 2 subcutaneous injection, 4 intradermal injection and 4 intravenous injection. The collected data was analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 24 program, and the validity and reliability of the scale were verified. The results of this study can be used as an important scale to measure the effectiveness of nursing self-test and intervention studies on medication activities for nursing students and new staff nurses.
