간호사의 공감역량이 대인관계능력, 직무만족도 및 행복감에 미치는 영향

Effect of Nurses’ Compassion competence on Personal Relations, Job Satisfaction and Happiness

본 연구는 서술적조사연구로 간호사의 공감역량이 대인관계능력, 직무만족도 및 행복감에 미치는 영향을 파악함으로써 임상현장에서 간호서비스의 질 향상을 위한 간호사의 역량개발 프로그램의 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 종합병원 근무경력 1년 이상의 간호사 182명이며, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구도구는 공감역량은 Lee와 Seomun (2016)이 개발한 도구를, 대인관계능력은 Schlein과 Guerney (1971)가 개발하고 장혜숙(2006)이 수정․보완한 도구를, 직무만족도는 Weiss 등(1967)의 MSQ를 박아이린(2005)이 번역한 도구를, 행복감은 서은국과 구재선(2011)이 개발한 도구를 사용하였다. 연구결과 공감역량은 대인관계능력, 직무만족도 및 행복감에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인하였다. 그러므로 병원 조직의 안정화와 질적인 간호서비스를 제공할 수 있는 병원 조직문화 형성을 위해 간호사의 공감역량을 높일 수 있는 교육프로그램을 개발하여 적용하는 것이 필요할 것으로 사료되었다.

This is a descriptive research study that aims to provide basic data for developing programs that can help improve nurses’competence with the ultimate aim to enhance the quality of nursing services in the clinical field by examining the effects of nurses’compassion competence on their personal relations, job satisfaction, and happiness. The research subjects were 182 nurses who worked for one year or longer at two general hospitals located in G city. In addition, the data were collected using a structured questionnaire from October 5 to 20, 2018. Compassion competence was measured using a tool developed by Lee & Seomun (2016); personal relations was measured using a tool developed by Schlein and Guerney (1971) and used by Jang Hye-Sook (2006); and job satisfaction was measured using the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) (Weiss et al., 1967), which was translated by Park Ai-rin (2005); and happiness was measured using a tool developed by Seo Eun-guk and Gu Jae-seon (2011). In summary, it was found that compassion competence is a factor affecting personal relations, job satisfaction, and happiness. Consequently, it is necessary to develop and apply training programs that can help nurses improve their compassion competence, so as to stabilize hospital organization and form hospital organizational culture that can provide quality nursing services.
