Primary Isolated Bone Marrow T Cell-Rich Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma

Primary isolated bone marrow T cell-rich Non-Hodgkin s lymphoma (T/HRBCL) is a rare entity as variant diffuse large Bcell lymphoma (DLBCL). A 50-years-old male was transferred to our hospital presenting with fever lasting longer than two weeks despite treatment with broad spectrum antibiotics. Laboratory findings showed pancytopenia and elevated C-reactive protein, but no growth o f bacteria in blood. Bone marrow biopsy revealed involvement with T/HRBCL. A computed tomographic scan showed splenomegaly, but no lymphadenopathy. Positron emission tomography showed diffuse hot uptake in bone without lymphadenopathy. Here we report a case o f primary isolated bone marrow T-cell-rich DLBCL.
