A Case of Dapsone Hypersensitivity Syndrome Mimicking Infectious Mononucleosis

We report the case of a 17-year-old female patient with dapsone hypersensitivity syndrome (DHS) after start a dapsone therapy for suspicious immune and hypersensitivity disorders. The clinical presentation mimicked infectious mononucleosis. Since dapsone is used for various indications, physicians should be aware of DHS and its clinical features masquerading as other systemic diseases.
