A Case of Isolated Collagenoma Developed in Breast

Collagenoma is a hamartomatous lesion consisting of proliferation of normal collagen tissue. It can be hereditary or sporadic. We report herein a rare case of isolated collagenoma on the right breast without associated abnormalities. A 38-year-old female presented with an asymptomatic, C-shaped, firm plaque on her right breast. Histopathᄋlogically, dense, coarse, thick collagen fibers were located in the dermis and the number of elastic fibers was slightly decreased, which was compatible with collagenoma. The authors presented herein one case of isolated collagenoma developed in breast with the review of literatures.
