Experience of Rituximab Treatment in Two Patients with Autoimmune Disease

Rituximab， a monoclonal anti-CD20 chimeric antibody, has successfully been used to treat B cell lymphoma, and has recently been shown to be effective for the treatment of autoimm니ne diseases such as idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and autoimmune hemolytic anemia. We report the experience of rituximab treatment in two patients with autoimmue disease. The first case is 68-year-old female patient with autoimmue thrombocytopenic purpura，and the second case is 26-years-old female patient with autoimmue hemolytic anemia. Therapy with rituximab appears to be promising in patients with steroid refractory autoimmune disease.
