무용전공 고등학교 초임체육교사의 교직 적응에 관한 내러티브 탐구

The Narrative Inquiry of Professional Adoption of Dance Majored Beginning High School Teachers in Physical Education

본 연구의 목적은 무용전공 초임체육교사로의 교직 적응 과정을 살펴보고자 한 연구로서 5년경력의 무용전공 초임체육교사 1명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 자료 수집은 심층면담과 학교업무와 관련된 문서, 수업 일지 등을 통해 이루어졌으며 자료 분석은 Clandinin & Connelly(2000)의 내러티브탐구 방법을 사용하였다. 전사된 자료를 반복적으로 읽으며 연구참여자의 이야기를 풀어나가는데 목적을 두었고, 다시이야기 과정을 통해 연구 참여자의 교직 적응의 과정을 살펴보았다. 연구결과 꿈을 그리며 꿈을 생각하기, 꿈을 위해 한걸음 다가가기, 꿈을 실천하며 도전하기, 이루어진 꿈을 성장시키기라는 주제로 이야기를 구성하였고, 다시이야기는 체육교사의 꿈 이루기, 체육교사의 삶 살아가기, 성장하는 체육교사 되기로 구성되었다. 연구를 통해 무용전공자가 체육교사가 되는 과정부터 교직에 적응해나가는 과정 그리고 성장하기 위해 노력하는 모습들을 살펴보며 무용전공자의 초임체육교사로서의 교직생활에 대한 전반적인 적응과정을 살펴보았다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the process of adapting to teaching as a first-time physical education teacher with dance major. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, review of documents related to school affairs, and classroom logs. Data analysis was conducted, using Clandinin & Connelly s(2000) narrative inquiry method. The purpose of this study was to understand the story of research participants by repeatedly reading the transcribed data. As a result of the research, the story was organized with the theme of thinking about dreams, taking a step closer to dreams, practicing and challenging for dreams, and growing with dreams. The story was again built in the categories of achieving the dream to be a physical education teacher, living and continuing growth as a physical education teacher. The research also examined the process of becoming a sports teacher, adapting to the teaching profession, and making efforts for further growth.
