Development and verification of glocal competency measuring tools

본고의 목적은 글로컬 역량의 진단도구를 개발 검증하는 데 있다. 역량 중심 교육과정의 중요성이 커지는 상황에서 글로컬 역량은 세계시민으로서 갖춰야 할 국제적 감각과 지역사회 시민으로서 필요한 연대의식을 기르는 데 필요한 역량이라고 판단하였다. 글로벌/글로컬 역량에 대한 개념 규정이 다른 상황에서 핵심역량 교육의 성과를 측정하기 위하여 진단도구를 개발하고 이를 검증하였다. 글로컬 역량의 하위요인을 외국어 활용능력, 문화적 개방성, 글로벌 활동, 공동체 의식, 지역시민 의식으로 설정하고 하위요인별로 6개 문항씩 총 30개 문항을 개발하였다. K대학교 재학생을 대상으로 글로컬 역량 자체 진단도구를 개발하여 예비조사를 실시한 후, 타당화 검증을 통해 추출된 최종문항을 설정하였다. 핵심역량 진단검사에 참여한 1,257명의 자료를 바탕으로 SPSS 23.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 최종요인과 문항에 대한 타당성 확인을 위해 KMO 및 Bartlett 검정을 실시한 결과, KMO 값이 .932로 나타나 요인분석모형의 적합성을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to develop and validate a diagnostic tool of global competence. In the context of the growing importance of competency-based curriculum, we believe that global competencies are necessary to develop an international sense as a global citizen and solidarity as a community citizen. Diagnostic tools were developed and validated to measure the performance of core competence education in different contexts for global and global competency. The subfactors of the global competency were set as foreign language literacy, cultural openness, global activities, sense of community, and local citizenship, and a total of 30 items were developed for each subfactor. After developing preliminary survey by developing self-diagnosis tool of global competency for students at K University, the final questions extracted through validity verification were set. The data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 based on 1,257 participants who participated in the core competency diagnostic test. The KMO and Bartlett test were conducted to confirm the validity of the final factors and questions. The KMO value was .932, confirming the suitability of the factor analysis model.
