고령 장애인의 차별경험과 삶의 만족도간의 관계에서 자아효능감과 장애수용의 이중매개효과

The Dual Mediation Effect of Self-Efficacy and Disability Acceptance in Discrimination Experience and Life Satisfaction of the Elderly Disabled

본 연구에서는 55세 이상 고령 장애인이 겪는 차별경험이 미치는 영향에서 자아효능감과 장애수용의 이중매개효과를 검증하는데 연구의 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 한국장애인고용공단에서 2017년도 에 구축한 장애인 고용패널조사 2차 wave 2차 조사 자료 중 고령 장애인(55세~65세) 951명을 자료 분석 대상으로 삼았다. 연구결과 첫째, 모든 변수 간 상관관계가 유의미한 가운데, 차별경험과 자아효능감, 장애수용, 삶의 만족도는 역의 상관관계가 있었다. 즉, 차별경험이 많을수록 자아효능감, 장애수용, 삶의 만족도는 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 고령 장애인의 차별경험이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향은 모두 유의미하였고, 고령 장애인의 차별경험은 삶의 만족도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 차별경험이 많을수록 삶의 만족도는 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고령 장애인의 차별경험이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 효과는 자아효능감과 장애수용이 추가되었을 때 감소하여, 차별경험과 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 자아효능감과 장애수용이 매개하는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to verify the dual mediating effects of self-efficacy and disability acceptance on the effects of discrimination experiences of elderly people over 55 years old. For this, 951 elderly persons with disabilities (ages 55 to 65) were analyzed for data analysis. The results of the study were as follows: First, the correlations among all variables were significant, and there was an inverse correlation between discrimination experience, self-efficacy, disability acceptance, and life satisfaction. In other words, the more discrimination experience, the lower the self-efficacy, disability acceptance, and life satisfaction. Second, the effects of discrimination experiences of elderly persons with disabilities on life satisfaction were significant, and discrimination experiences of elderly persons with disabilities had a negative effect on life satisfaction. In other words, the more discriminating experience, the lower the satisfaction of life. Third, the effect of discrimination experiences on life satisfaction of elderly persons with disabilities decreased when self-efficacy and disability acceptance were added.
