2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 가정 교과서 활동과제의 민주시민역량 분석

Analysis of the democratic civic competencies of activity tasks in middle school Home Economics textbooks according to 2015 revised national

본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 가정 교과서의 활동과제에 나타난 민주시민역량을 분석하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 기술･가정 교과서 6종(총 12권)의 활동과제를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 3가지 민주시민역량군 중에서는 ʻ시민성 역량군ʼ의 내용이 가장 많이 다루어졌으며, 민주시민역량은 ʻ신뢰와 가치(F)ʼ 역량의 빈도가 가장 높았다. 교육과정 영역별로는 ʻ인간 발달과 가족ʼ 영역에서, 핵심 역량별로는 ʻ관계ʼ에서, 내용 요소별로는 ʻ가족의 의사소통과 갈등 관리ʼ에서 민주시민역량 내용을 가장 많이 다루고 있었다. 출판사별로는 ʻKHʼ 교과서의 민주시민역량 활동과제 빈도가 가장 높았다. 가정과교육과 민주시민역량 사이의 관련성으로 볼 때, 앞으로 가정교과를 통해 학생들이 가정의 삶에서 민주시민역량을 키울 수 있는 수업 실천에 대한 다양한 연구가 필요하다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the democratic civic competencies of the activity tasks in ʻthe Family Lifeʼ part in Middle School TechnologyㆍHome Economics textbooks according to the 2015 revised national curriculum. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the activity tasks of six types of middle school Home Economics textbooks (for a total 12 of volumes) were analyzed. As a result, the use of the citizenship competency group was the most often recorded out of the three democratic civic competency groups and the subset of trust and value competencies also were frequently observed. Additionally, democratic civic competency was the seen most within the ʻhuman development and familyʼ area by the national curriculum, and showed the highest frequency in big idea, ʻthe relationshipʼ. Activity tasks in the ʻKHʼ textbooks were dealing with democratic civic competency the most. Based on the relationship between Home Economics education and democratic civic competencies, it is necessary to study the practice of classroom instruction so that students can develop democratic civic competence in ʻthe Family Lifeʼ by means of a Home Economics curriculum.
