Treatment of a Dental Class III Adult Patient with Hyperdivergent Pattern Using Orthodontic Mini-Implant: Case Report

The distalization of mandibular dentition using orthodontic mini-implant is effective in treating patients with dental Class III because it does not depend on patient’s cooperation and there is no anchor loss. During distalization of the mandibular dentition, appropriate force direction should be considered, which is determined by the position of the orthodontic mini-implant and length of the hook. In this case, we report a case showing successful treatment result of a patient with dental Class III malocclusion with hyperdivergent facial pattern using orthodontic mini-implant.
