노인을 대상으로 사용한 활동분류카드의 문화별 비교

Comparison of Activity Card Sort(ACS) Culture in Elderly

목적: 본 연구는 노인의 사회적 참여를 평가하기 위해 개발된 각 나라별 활동분류카드(Activity Card Sort)를 문화적으로 살펴보았을 때 노인에게 어떤 활동들이 중심적으로 분포하고 있는지 확인하고자 비교 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 노인을 대상으로 개발된 각 나라별 활동분류카드를 수집하였고, 각 개국의 활동분류카드에 활동들을 비교 분석하였다. 결과: 10개의 각 나라에서 총 134개의 활동들이 추출되었고, 그 중 문화별 특징으로 보았을 때 총 9개의 중심적인 활동들이 확인되었다. 활동 항목들로는 쇼핑하기, 식료품사기, 빨래하기, 휴식 취하기, 신문 읽기, 텔레비전 보기, 앉아서 사색하기, 외식하기, 분리수거가 확인되었다. 결론: 본 연구를 통해 노인의 참여를 평가하기 위해 개발된 ACS 활동 영역 중 어떤 활동들이 있는지 확인하였다. 이는 추후 노인을 위한 국내 지역사회 참여 평가도구 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Objective: The aim of this study was to identify the Activity Card Sort(ACS) that are participatory and central to the elderly in multiple countries. Methods: Data were collected from a total of 10 ACS and the activities on the ACS were compared and analyzed for each country. Results: total of 134 activities were extracted from the 10 countries, and nine central activities were identified from this list after considering cultural differences. The identified activity items included shopping, grocery shopping, washing dishes, relaxing, reading newspapers, watching television, sitting down, eating out, and separating. Conclusion: The findings could potentially be used as baseline data for the development of local community participation assessment tools for older adults.
