예비유아교사의 행복감과 창의·인성의 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과

The Mediating Effect of Grit on the Relationship between Happiness, Creativity and Personality

연구목적: 본 연구는 예비유아교사의 행복감과 창의·인성의 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과를 확인하고, 이들 변인 간 관계를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 연구대상은 부산광역시, 울산광역시, 경상남도 내에 소재하고 있는 대학교의 유아교육과에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 300명을 임의표집하여 선정하였다. 예비유아교사의 행복감 측정도구는 다차원적 행복척도(Multidimensional Measure of Flourishing: MMF)를 사용하였고, 창의·인성 측정도구는 창의·인성척도(CPS-R: Creative Personality Scale-Revised)를 사용하였으며, 그릿 측정도구는 Original Grit Scale(Grit-O)를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하였다. 연구결과: 예비유아교사는 행복감, 창의·인성, 그릿에서 모두 보통 이상의 긍정적으로 인식하였고, 각 변인은 모두 정적인 상관관계가 있었으며, 예비유아교사의 행복감과 그릿은 창의·인성에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다. 또한 그릿은 행복감과 창의·인성의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 있었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 예비유아교사의 창의·인성에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 행복감과 그릿에 주목함으로써 유아교육현장의 주축이 될 예비유아교사의 창의·인성을 증진시키기 위해 행복감과 그릿의 증진이 필요함을 제안하고자 한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating effects of grit on the relationship between happiness and creativity and personality of pre-service early childhood teachers and to examine the relationships among these variables. Method: The subjects of the study were randomly selected 300 pre-service early childhood teachers from the Department of Early Childhood Education at universities located in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do. Multidimensional Measure of Flourishing (MMF) was used to measure the pre-service teachers’ happiness. And the creative and personality measurement tool used the Creative Personality Scale-Revised (CPS-R). The measurement instrument used Original Grit Scale (Grit-O). Data analysis was done using the SPSS 23.0 program. Results: The pre-service early childhood teacher perceived happiness, creativity, and personality as positive or more than normal. Each variable had a positive correlation, and the happiness and grit of the pre-service early childhood teacher were creative and human. It appeared to be a variable affecting. Grit also had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between happiness and creativity. Conclusion: This study suggested that happiness and grit were needed to improve the creativity and character of the pre-service early childhood teacher and to promote the happiness and grit of the pre-service early childhood teacher.
