보육 실습 현장에서 실습생이 경험하는 어려움과 보람

The difficulties and rewards experienced in child care training institutions

본 연구는 4명의 보육 실습 경험을 한 예비교사를 대상으로 하여 심층 면담을 통한 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 2018년 11월 1일 부터 11월 30일까지 심층 면담 및 자료 수집이 이루어졌으며, 총 4명이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구 방법은 현상학적 면담 접근법을 활용하였다. 연구 결과에서 보육 실습 경험을 통해 긍정적 의미(보람)에서의 보육 실습과 부정적 의미(어려움)에서의 측면 두 가지로 나타났다. 긍정적 측면을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사가 되어 어린이집 일과와 운영방법 경험하기이다. 둘째, 다양한 경험을 통해 교수 방법을 배우는 시간이다. 셋째, 보육 실습 지도교사의 피드백을 통한 자신감 강화이다. 부정적 측면을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실습생에 대한 높은 기대치에 관한 어려움이다. 둘째, 감정노동에서의 어려움이다. 본 연구는 긍정적인 측면과 부정적인 측면을 함께 다루어보면서 실습생의 생각을 담아 고찰하였다는 것에 의의가 있다고 하겠다. 향후 보육 실습 지도교사, 보육 실습을 지도하는 대학교수의 목소리를 함께 담아 분석한 후속 연구가 필요하다고 제언한다.

In this study, the qualitative research was conducted on four college students who had experience of childcare practice. The process of data collection and analysis was conducted in-depth interviews and data collection from November 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018. Four participants participated in the study. The research method used phenomenological interview approach. The results showed positive(rewards) and negative experiences(difficulties). The positive side experiences are as follows. First, I become a teacher and experience day care and how to operate. Second, it is time to learn teaching methods through various experiences. Third, it is the reinforcement of self - confidence as a pre - service teacher through the feedback of the teacher of the daycare teacher. Experience from the negative side is as follows. First, it is a difficulty with high expectation of apprentice. Second, it is a difficulty in emotional labor. This study is meaningful because it deals with the positive and negative aspects together with the college students thoughts. It is suggested that a follow-up study is needed to analyze the voices of the child care practice teacher and the professors.
