인형진단평가를 통한 탈북 청소년의 자기 인식에 대한 상징체계연구

A Study on the Symbolic System of Self-awareness for North Korean Adolescents through Figure Diagnosis Evaluation

본 연구의 목적은 인형진단평가에 나타난 탈북 청소년의 자기 인식에 대한 상징체계를 분석하고, 남한 사회 적응 경험을 통한 탈북 청소년의 자기를 보는 시각과 특성의 상징적 의미를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에 참여한 탈북 청소년 4명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 인형진단평가를 실시하였고, 분석 방법은 인형진단평가 매뉴얼의 방법에 따라 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 탈북 청소년의 동물인형 선택에서 표현된 자기 인식에서는 강함, 방어/생존, 의존, 부정적 소망의 동물상징체계가 나타났다. 또한 탈북 청소년이 남한사회에 적응하는 과정에서 경험한 심리적인 어려움과 부적응이 생존과 안전에 위협을 느끼고 있는 자기 인식 상징체계로 나타났다. 즉, 탈북 청소년은 인간생활을 영위하는데 있어서 가장 기본이 되는 ‘생존과 안전’의 욕구에 대한 결핍이 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 인형진단평가를 통한 탈북 청소년들의 자기 인식의 특성을 알아봄으로써 탈북 청소년의 자기 이해를 도울 뿐 아니라 탈북 청소년의 심리치료의 전문적인 심리지원 서비스 및 중재적 차원의 효과적인 개입에 기초자료로 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the symbolic system of North Korean defectors ‘self-perception in the Diagnosis Evaluation and to examine the symbolic meaning of the North Korean defectors’ self-perception and characteristics through the experience of social adjustment in South Korea. For this purpose, four North Korean adolescents who participated in this study were selected as the research subjects and the Figure diagnosis evaluation was conducted. In other words, the North Korean defector has a deficiency in the desire for survival and safety, which is the most fundamental in human life. Therefore, this study not only helps North Korean adolescents’ self-understanding by evaluating the characteristics of self-awareness of North Korean adolescents through Figure diagnosis, but also provides basic information on the professional psychological support service and effective intervention at the intervention level.
