초등학생의 교육정보화 기기 활용이 학습전략 및 자기주도학습에 대한 영향에서 지식정보처리역량의 매개효과에 관한 연구

A Study on Mediating Effects of Elementary Students’ Knowledge and Information Processing Competency of the Effects of the Use of ICT on Learning Strategies and Selfdirected Learning

지식정보처리역량과 ICT 매체는 4차산업혁명 시대에 교육현장에서 큰 관심을 끌고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 ICT 매체 활용이 지식정보처리 역량을 높이는지, 지식정보처리역량이 학습전략과 자기주도학습에 긍정적으로 영향을 주는지, 최종적으로 지식정보처리역량이 ICT 활용의 학습전략 및 자기주도학습에 대한 영향에서 매개 효과가 있는지를 실증적으로 확인하는 것이다. 본 연구는 초등학생의 ICT 매체사용(컴퓨터, 스마트폰, 스마트기기 사용), 지식정보처리역량, 학습전략, 자기주도학습간의 관계를 구조방정식 모형을 통해 목적을 달성하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 자료는 부산교육연구정보원에서 수집한 부산교육종단연구로 층화군집표집을 실시하여 최종적으로 2.928명이다. 연구결과와 그에 대한 논의를 바탕으로 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, ICT 매체 사용은 지식정보처리역량에 유의미하게 영향을 끼친다. 둘째, 지식정보처리역량은 학습전략과 자기주도학습에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, ICT 매체 활용은 지식정보처리역량을 매개로 학습전략과 자기주도학습에 긍정적으로 영향을 끼친다. 이상의 결론을 바탕으로 초등학생의 일상적인 ICT 매체 활용, 학교교육에서 지식정보처리역량의 역할에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다.

Knowledge and information processing competency and the use of ICT in education draws a lot of attention from educators and researchers in educational field. the purposes of the study was to explore whether elementary students’ use of ICT could enhance their knowledge and information processing competency, whether their knowledge and information processing competency could enhance learning strategy and self-directed learning, and their use of ICT could affect positively on learning strategy and self-directed learning via knowledge and information processing competency. In order to achieve the purposes, a structural equations model with the use of ICT(PCs, mobile phones including smart phones, and pads) of elementary students, knowledge and information processing competency, learning strategy, and self-directed learning. The data were 2,929 elementary students from Busan Education Longitudinal Study(BELS) collected by Busan Educational Research and Information Institute. As a results, the conclusions were 1) elementary students’ use of ICT enhances their knowledge and information processing competency, 2) knowledge and information processing competency enhances learning strategy and self-directed learning, 3) their use of ICT affect positively on learning strategy and self-directed learning via knowledge and information processing competency. Implications were provided from the conclusions.
