일개 지역 보건소 및 경로당 이용 노인의 보행능력과 인지기능과의 관련성

The Correlation between Cognitive Functions and Ambulation in Elderly Individuals at Local Public Health Center and Local Senior Citizen Community Center

목적 : 이 연구는 노인의 인지기능과 보행능력과의 관련성을 살펴보고, 노인의 보행능력에 영향을 미치는 일반적 특징을 알아보아 추후 보행능력에 따른 경도인지장애와 치매를 조기발견 할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하기 위함을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법 : 2019년 3월 15일부터 동년 5월 31일까지 군산 보건소 및 군산시 부향 하나로 아파트 경로당을 이용한 노인 12명을 대상으로 MMSE-DS(Mini Mental State Examination - Dementia Screening)를 이용하여 인지기능 평가를 진행하였고, GMWT(Groningen Meander Walking Test)를 이용하여 보행평가를 진행하였다. 통계처리는 SPSS Window 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 인지기능과 보행능력의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson s 상관관계분석을 실시하였고, 일반적 특성에 따른 인지기능과 보행능력의 차이를 알아보기 위해 비모수 검정인 Mann-Whitney의 U Test와 Kruskal-Wallis H Test를 실시하였다. 연구결과 : 본 연구 결과 인지기능과 보행능력 요인 간 상관관계는 없었고 보행 시 변수요인 간 출발시간, 도착 시간, 시간 합만이 서로 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : 인지기능과 보행능력간의 상관관계는 없었지만 인지기능이 저하되더라도 신체기능이 좋은 경우 보행 능력이 유지되므로 노인에서 지속적인 신체활동과 하지근력 강화의 필요성이 요청된다.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the need for occupational therapy and the realistic difficulties of social welfare in day care centers. Methods : This study was conducted to collect data of 78 social workers working in daycare center in the area B from January to February 2019. Questionnaire was 20 items consisted of general characteristics, awareness and needs on occupational therapy. Data was analyzed with SPSS 20.0. Results : Sixty-three (80.8%) of the respondents answered they know occupational therapy, and 63 respondents(80.8%) occupational therapy is necessary. Social workers working in the day care center said the occupational therapy is the most necessary to improve performance of activities of daily living skills and instrumental activities of daily living skills, and realistic difficulties to provide users occupational therapy include space shortage, burden on cost and so on. Conclusion : In order to implement occupational therapies at the daycare center for adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities, it is necessary to revise relevant laws and support the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and establish the basis for the effectiveness of occupational therapy for adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities.
