본 연구는 가정폭력 피해 여성장애인의 가정에서의 갈등(폭력)경험과 그에 다른 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 현상과 원가족의 회복 또는 지역사회로의 사회화 촉진 요인에 관한 연구이다. 연구에 참여한 대상자들은 가정폭력 피해 여성장애인으로 쉼터와 상담센터 등에 입소자 중이면서 의사소통이 일정부분 가능하고, 연구참여에 동의한 7명과 상담소장, 법인대표 2명의 운영자를 포함시켜 최종 9명으로 연구를 진행했다. 연구의 결과로 첫째, 여성장애인의 폭력경험 영역으로 폭력발생요인, 폭력형태, 대처유형을 분류하고, 둘째, 폭력경험 후 현상영역에서 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 현상의 특징을 파악하며, 셋째, 가정폭력 경험 여성장애인의 사회화를 촉진요인으로 가해자조치요인, 갈등중재요인, 심리 · 사회서비스요인으로 연구되어졌다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 중심으로 한 정책적·실천적 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성장애인 가정폭력 실태파악 및 통계구축으로 여성가족부와 지자체의 정기적인 실태조사가 필요하다. 둘째, 가정폭력 피해여성 장애인과 자녀를 위한 상담소 및 보호시설(쉼터)의 각 시 · 도에 설치 의무화가 요구된다. 셋째, 가정폭력 피해여성 장애인을 위한 복지 증진사업 및 전문프로그램 실시를 위한 예산확보와 전문인력 배치가 필요하다. 넷째, 지역사회 가정폭력 피해여성장애인의 권익활동, 예방교육, 사회적 인식확대와 폭력가해자에 대한 협력 대응체계 구축 등 법적 · 복지적 관점에서의 공동 인프라 구축을 제언한다.
This study explored the experiences of women with disabilities who have been victims of domestic violence, including: conflict; violence; family factors; physical, mental, and social phenomena; family reunification; and socialization. Participants included seven women in a shelter for women with disabilities affected by domestic violence, and two operators of counseling centers. Initially, causes of violence, forms of violence, and coping patterns were classified. Then the characteristics of physical, mental and social phenomena accompanying violent experiences were explored. Finally, the experience of domestic violence, factors related to perpetrator actions, conflict mediation, and psychological and social services promoting socialization were examined. Implications for services and policies, including incidence reporting, counseling service availability, welfare promotion projects, and professional programs are discussed. Additionally, recommendations are made for legal and welfare infrastructure that would support legal rights, prevention education, social awareness, and a cooperative response system for women with disabilities affected by domestic violence.
