중학생의 내현적 자기애, 분노표현양식 및 공감능력이 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향

The Influences of Covert Narcissism, Anger Expression Styles and Empathic Ability on Interpersonal Problems of Middle School Students

본 연구의 목적은 중학생의 내현적 자기애, 분노표현양식 및 공감능력이 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 전라북도 전주시의 2개 중학교에 재학 중인 중학생 500명(남학생 257명, 여학생 243명)의 자료를 수집하였으며, 상관분석과 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 내현적 자기애와 분노표현양식, 공감능력은 대인관계 문제와 유의한 정적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 대인관계 문제에 영향을 미치는 내현적 자기애 하위요인은 소심/자신감부족이었으며, 또한 분노표현양식에서는 분노억압이, 공감능력 하위요인에서는 개인적 고통이 대인관계 문제에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 대인관계 문제에 어떤 변인이 가장 영향력이 큰지 살펴본 결과 내현적 자기애, 분노표현양식 순이었으며 공감능력은 제외되었다. 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구에 대한 제언이 논의되었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of covert narcissism, anger expression styles and empathic ability on interpersonal problems of middle school students. Five hundreds students of middle schools in Jeonju were recruited. Result of correlation and stepwise regression analysis showed that covert narcissism, anger expression styles and empathic ability were positively correlated with the interpersonal problems. Second, timid/ lack of confidence, anger-repression and personal distress had influence on interpersonal problems. Third, influences of covert narcissism and anger expression styles on interpersonal problems were greater than that of empathic ability. Finally, the implication and limitations of this study were discussed, and suggestions for further study were proposed.
