한국형 ACT에 대한 개관과 그 심리학적 함의

A Review of Korean ACT and Its Psychological Implication

본 연구는 정신장애인의 탈원화와 지역사회 유지에 큰 효과가 있는 것으로 알려진 ACT가 국내에서 어떻게 적용되고 연구되어 왔는지 개관하고, 그 심리학적 함의를 고찰해보고자 하였다. ACT의 핵심적 구성원리는 다학제적 팀구성, 서비스의 통합, 팀접근, 낮은 사례관리 부담, 지역사회에서의 접촉, 약물관리, 일상생활 초점, 신속한 접근, 적극적인 접촉, 개별화된 서비스와 시간제한을 받지 않는 서비스 등 이다. ACT에 대한 최초의 국내연구는 유제춘(2008)이며, 이후 김유라(2009)와 오명자(2009)가 동일한 시기에 지역사회 정신장애인들을 대상으로 ACT 원리를 활용한 사례관리 연구를 실시했다. 김영희(2012)는 국내ㆍ외의 ACT 문헌을 개관하고 전문가들의 자문을 거쳐 한국형 ACT를 개발했다. 6개월간 지역사회의 정신장애인에게 실시한 결과, 이 한국형 ACT에 참여한 정신장애인의 정신과적 증상이 감소되었고, 전반적인 사회적 기능과 삶의 만족도가 증가했다고 보고했다. 현재 ACT에 대한 비판이 상당히 있지만, 한국형 ACT의 지속적인 연구가 확대되어야 할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국형 ACT에 대한 심리학적 함의, 한계점과 향후 연구방향이 논의되었다.

This study reviews Korean ACT-related articles and makes its psychological implications. The Korean ACT-related researches were Jae Chun Ryu(2008), Yu Ra Kim(2009) and Myung Ja Oh(2009). Young Hee Kim(2012) s research(Effectiveness of Modified ACT program for people with severe mental illness) was produced as Korean ACT by literature review, health professionals evaluation, pilot study and feedback. Korean Act faithfully and validly followed the core principles of original Act, and the people with severe mental illess participatiing in ACT program showed more symptom reduction, enhanced social function and life satisfaction. The psychological implications of ACT were psychologist s role as public mental health professionals in ACT, participation in ACT as clinical psychologist and addiction expert et al. Three is the urgent need for producing and managing new paradigm development like ACT in clinical, counseling, health psychology. The limitation and future research orientation were discussed.
