A traumatic brain injury is a disability that is rapidly occurring in recent days and has a tremendous effect on family, community and throughout society. The family who have a disabled person with traumatic brain injury are suffering serious stress, financial difficulties, and are estranged from society. Society also spends as much money as it can do on. Various services to fulfill the necessity of long-term support not only in the home but also in the community. In addition, working places are to be prepared; When considering the meaning that the effect and service period offers, it is natural that we emphasize the importance of vocational rehabilitation. There have been many measures taken for the supported employment plan until now for the disabled with traumatic brain injury. Nevertheless, the results are different respectively, because every program has its speciality. That s why just simple comparison is difficult and it remains to be seen which measure are best. The first step of supported employment for the disabled with traumatic brain injury is job placement, which is to select people who have the ability through consumer evaluation and at the same time perfom proper job development. The second step is workplace training and orientation. It is very important for the successful employment of the disabled person with traumatic brain injury to use the workplace training and orientation which is individualized and systematized guidance and compensation strategy throughout the intensive workplace training period. The last step is keeping the job. For this, it is essential that the family, coworkers, employers and the disabled people themselves participate in and make every effort needed. The counselor should make a plan in detail and perform it in order to persuade them to attend positively and commit effective follow-up guidance. Accordingly, the vocational rehabilitation counselor and service institution are to be expanded, first of all, the transition of recognition in scholastic society and field that the person with traumatic brain injury is not the object of medical rehabilitation, but the object of vocational rehabilitation should be done urgently.
