A Theoretical Study on the Job Try-out Evaluation in the Sheltered Workshop Situation

The purpose of this study is to research the job try-out evaluation in the sheltered workshop situation. According to the purpose, this study is composed as following : (1) the significance of the sheltered workshop and on-the-job evaluation in the sheltered workshop situation. (2) the general procedure about behavior observation in the sheltered workshop situation. (3) Analysis and interpretation of work behavior in the sheltered workshop situation. Recently, the employment of persons with disabilities has been intended the supported employment. However, it is keeping the sheltered employment practically. After persons with disabilities are educated and trained in the sheltered workshop, they transfer to the supported employment. The result of this study will provide theoretical and practical foundation for the transitional planning from sheltered workshop to supported employment.
