A Study on the Parent-Child Dyadic Supportive Strategies through Parent-Child Interaction Promoting Programs in the Process of Rehabilitation for Children with Disability

This study was proceeded to find out the effects of family supportive strategies through parent-child interaction promoting programs on the changes of interaction patterns between parents and their child with disability, stress levels of parents, parenting attitudes, couple relationship, and the family functions. The whole programs were proceeded during 23 weeks toward parents with 13 weeks of parent-child interaction promoting programs including emotional supportive programs and with 10 weeks of parent-child interaction skill training programs in conjoint sessions .. The results showed that these programs had significant positive effects on the changes of parent-child interaction patterns, parenting stress levels of parents, parenting attitudes, couples relationships, and their family functions. In the results of post-test, positive changes in CRS, P-CIPA and parents behavior lists were observed
