Effectiveness of Filial Therapy on Parent-Child Relationship Improvement and Problem Behavior Decrease of Children

This study was designed to determine the effective of a 10-week filial therapy model as a method of intervention for Parents of Internet game addition children. The 7 mother-child dyads agreed to participate in our program and 6 mother-child dyads were selected as control group. Mann-Whitney U-test was performed following the therapeutic program. Result of the analysis revealed that the parents of Internet-addition children in the experimental group significantly increased their level of empathic interactions with their children as compared to parents in the control groups. and significantly didn t reduced behavior broblem level of children.
