A Study on the Life Centered Career Education Program and Its Practice

The purpose of this study is to investigate the Life Centered Career Education(LCCE) program and its Practice. The model of Life Centered Career Education is comprises three parts. It is composed of daily living skills, social/interpersonal skills, and vocational skills. LCCE program s planning and practice are composed of 16 stages. The model of Life Centered Career Education includes 22 competences which are functions with experiences at school, home, and community. Performance process of this model is divided 16 steps. It is implicated that LCCE program have to be included curriculum of persons with developmental disabilities and, the results of this study suggest in preparing transition program of individuals with developmental disabilities.
