The present study aimed at exploring the effect of prevocational training program with the mentally retarded children. Specifically, the purpose of the study were to determine characteristics of prevocational skill change occurred before and after training be each case, and to find the effects of the program in terms of three skills areas, that is developmental assessment, interpersonal/social skill, and money handing skill. The prevocational training program brought about the increasingly developmental assessment, interpersonal/social skill, money handing skill of all subjects. This program can be used in the school for the mentally retarded practically and successfully.
