The purpose of this study was to prove the effects of the developmental disability children s perceptual-motor performance abilities resulted from applying appropriate Perceptual · Motor Program. The subjects of study were developmental disability children who have been attending special class for handicapped in elementary school in Chonju, Chonbuk province. They were selected into two groups based on member s mental age either 5 or 6 years old, and each group was consisted of 16 members subdivided into experimentation group(8) and control group(8). After total 20 times of execution of Perceptual · Motor Program which were done twice a week for 10 weeks on experimentation group, the difference between experimentation group and control group that is the effect of the program was proved by t verification method. Based on these results, the following conclusion was drawn First. Perceptual · Motor Program was efficacious in line drawing and plotting area upon children s motor performance abilities. Second. Perceptual · Motor Program was efficacious in the figure-space discrimination, figure analysis and figure synthesis area upon children s perception performance abilities.
