기후변화에 따른 자연재해에 대한 중학생들의 인식 연구

A Study on Middle School Students Perceptions of Natural Disasters Caused by Climate Change

이 연구는 중학생의 자연재해에 대한 인식 정도를 성별, 학년별, 지역별로 차이를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 자연재해 인식 질문지를 수정, 보완하여 176명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 심층적인 분석을 위해 4명을 대상으로 반 구조화된 면담을 하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 중학생들의 자연재해 인식을 성별로 분석한 결과, 정보습득 경로, 자연재해 심각성 인식, 교육 만족도의 요소에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 둘째, 중학생들의 자연재해 인식을 학년별로 분석한 결과, 필요한 자연재해교육, 자연재해 심각성 인식 및 교육 만족도의 요소에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 중학생들의 자연재해 인식을 지역별로 분석한 결과, 모든 요소에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 이러한 차이는 면담을 통해서도 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들로부터 자연재해 교육은 실천 위주의 자연재해 교육 프로그램과 학생들에게 적합한 ‘시청각 자료’를 포함한 교수학습 자료가 다양하게 만들어져야 하며, 학생들이 직접 경험 가능한 태풍과 미세먼지에 관련된 자연재해 교육을 강화해야 한다. 이 연구결과를 토대로 초, 중, 고등학교 각각 급에 맞는 자연재해 교육의 실태와 교사들의 인식 그리고 여러 지역의 특성을 고려한 다양한 학생들의 인식을 알아보는 연구가 이루어져야 할 필요가 있다.

This study analyzed differences in perception of natural disasters among middle school students by gender, grade, and region. To this end, the natural disaster awareness questionnaire was revised and supplemented, and a questionnaire survey was conducted on 176 people. In order to conduct an in-depth analysis, four semi-structured interviews were conducted. The results of this study were as follows: First, there was a significant difference in the factors of information acquisition path, natural disaster severity perception, and educational satisfaction of middle school students. Second, as a result of analyzing the perception of natural disasters by middle school students, there was a statistically significant difference in the elements of natural disaster education, natural disaster severity recognition and educational satisfaction. Third, the analysis of perception of natural disasters by middle school students showed statistically significant difference in all factors. These differences were also confirmed through interviews. From these results, the natural disaster education should be made in a variety of teaching and learning materials including practice-oriented natural disaster education programs and audiovisual materials suitable for students, and students should be able to experience natural disasters related to typhoons and fine dusts It should be strengthened.
