체험에 근거한 초등학생의 전기에너지의 합리적 이용 학습 과정 분석

The Analysis of Elementary School Students’ Learning Process on Reasonable Usage of Electrical Energy Based on Practical Works

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 체험에 근거한 전기에너지의 합리적 이용 학습 과정을 분석하는 데 있다. 연구를 위해 5차시 분량의 학습 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 2주간에 걸쳐 경기도 성남시 관내의 초등학교 6학년 20명을 대상으로 프로그램을 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 본 프로그램이 학생들의 전기에너지 절약 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 또한 본 프로그램이 학생들의 전기 관련 개념을 학습하는 데 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 학생들의 전기에너지 절약에 대한 실천 의지가 향상되었으며, 학생들의 전기 관련 개념의 학습에도 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 전기요금 측정기를 이용한 조작적, 시각적 경험은 학생들이 전기와 관련된 다양한 개념들을 이해하는 데 도움을 주었다. 마지막으로 본 프로그램에 대한 학생들의 반응을 분석해본 결과, 재미있었다는 반응이 지배적이었다. 실천 중심의 에너지 교육 프로그램은 초등학생들의 흥미를 자극하며, 전기 에너지와 관련된 개념의 학습과 전기에너지 절약에 대한 태도에 전반적으로 긍정적인 영향을 주었다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning process of elementary school students on reasonable usage of electrical energy based on practical works. In this study, we developed 5 hour learning module and instructed 20 sixth grade students in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do for 2 weeks. As a result of this study we found out that the program helped the students have knowledge on the electric energy as well as it helped the students change their attitude on the usage of electric energy in everyday lives. The program showed a positive effect on students’ electrical energy saving attitude. They showed their will to act practically for saving electrical energy. In addition, we have some evidence of students’ development in energy concept. In the learning program, students had experiments with electrical power meter and that made them easy to understand related knowledge and concept. Most student thought positively on the effect of program and they answered that they studied with pleasure.
