해외 독립운동 거점지역과 고려인 학교 연계 연구

A Study on the Link between Foothold Region of the Overseas Independence Movement and Goryeo People s School.

세계사적 측면에서 큰 사건들의 충돌로 격심한 변화를 가져왔던 연해주 지역은 19세기 중반부터 고려인(조선인)들이 이주해 정착하기 시작한 땅이다. 이곳은 지리적이나 자연ㆍ환경적으로 매우척박한 땅이다. 이러한 어려운 환경에도 불구하고 고려인들은 내일의 삶을 위해 후손들 미래를 위해 이겨냈다. 1905년 일본의 침략으로 을사조약을 체결한 조선은 참담한 현실을 맡이 하게 된다. 이 사건은우리 애국지사들을 러시아 연해주로 모이도록 했다. 조선독립을 위해 애국지사들이 모이게 되었다. 그러나 국제정세의 변화로 독립운동에 새로운 국면을 맡게 된다. 제1차세계대전이 제정러시아와일본을 야합으로 끌어들여 감시와 박해가 양국으로부터 이어진 것이다. 1917년 2월과 1917년 10월 혁명은 제정러시아를 붕괴로 이끌었으며, 조선독립운동에 이중적, 삼중적인 복잡한 변화가 찾아왔다. 정치변동으로 연해주 지역 고려인들은 이합집산 되었다. 세계사에서 제국주의가 준동할 때마다 민족해방운동 과정에 교육운동은 늘 동반되었다. 고려인 학교가그 중심 역할로 나침반 작용을 한 것이다. 조선독립을 위한 애국지사들의 결속을 또 다른 각도에서 다지게 하였다. 특히 민족적 위기 때마다 고려인 학교는 그 힘을 더욱 크게 발휘하게 되었다. 조선에서 연해주로 이주한 고려인 1-2세대들. 이분들은 내일의 삶을 위해, 후손들을 위해, 조선의 독립을 위해, 민족과 조국을 위해 많은 부분을 바쳤다. 하지만 이분들의 노력은 역사의 아픔으로 머물러 있다. 의병, 3·1운동, 임시정부, 의열 및 무장 투쟁에 참여한 독립운동가가 약 300 만여명에 이른다고 한다. 그중에서도 순국하신 독립운동가는 약 15만명이나 된다는 조사가 있다. 아니 더 이상일 것으로 추정하고 있다. 이렇듯 숭고한 역사적 배경을 가지고 있는 우리 정부는 독립운동가 4만여명의 색인을 만들고, 공적이 확인된 2만여명을 본격적으로 심의해 1400여명을 서훈 했다. 하지만 지금까지 독립유공자 서훈을 받은 분들은 1만 5,511명에 불과하다. 자신의 모든 것을 조국 독립만을 위해 바쳤던 선열들, 이분들의 독립운동 평가가 분단이란 변수로 등장하여 독립운동만으로 평가되지 않는다는 것에 아픔을 느낀다. 조선독립을 위해 자신의 재산, 목숨, 가족까지도 다 내놓았던 분들에게 어떠한 기준으로 평가를 한다는 말인가? 너무나 나라 를 사랑하기에 민족주의자가 되었고, 조국 해방을 위해 시작한 소비에트와의 타협이 해방 뒤 공산주의자가 되고, 북한 정권 수립과 연관되어 조국 독립을 위해 모든 것을 바친 애국지사들의 독립운동 성격이 변질 될 수 있느냐 하는 것이다. 누구나 알고 있듯이 공산정권을 만들어낸 수장과 독립운동을 했던 애국지사들을 이분법으로 나누면서 친일 행위를 한 자들에게 하는 것은 무엇이냐고 묻지 않을 수 없다. 1919년 대한민국 건국과 1948년 대한민국 정부 수립에 있어 가장 올바르지 못한 행위자들에 대해서는 방관하는 자세는 어떻게 이해해야 하는가? 오늘날 대한민국을 국제사회의 일원으로 세울 수 있었던 선배들의 아픔과 고통을 봐서는 충분이이해한다. 이러한 아픔은 후손들을 위함이 아니던가. 그래서 더 값진 행위의 선택으로 조선독립과더불어 통일 한국을 위함으로 접근하자는 것이다. 현재 남북의 대립은 매우 심각하게 받아들이지만 내일을 위한 오늘의 행위는 우리 선열들의 공이 너무나 크기에 더 넓은 시각의 접근으로 만들어가고 싶은 생각이다. 우리 애국지사들의 혼은내일의 등불이며, 독립운동의 가치는 분단체제를 넘어 내일의 하나가 될 국가로 만들어 갈 수 있는 명분이 된다. 이제는 애국지사들의 독립운동 그 가치에 좀 더 비중을 두고 각 이념을 포용하여분단의 벽도 넘어섰으면 하는 바램이다.

The Yeonhaeju region, which had brought forth the extreme changes because of the collisions of the big incidents in terms of the world history, is a ground where the Goryeo people (Joseon people) had moved to and had begun to settle down from the middle of the 19th century. Although it is a ground that is very barren naturally and environmentally, for the life of the tomorrow and for the future of the descendants, the Goryeo people had overcome the environment. Joseon, which concluded the Japan-Korea Treaty of 1905 because of the invasion of Japan in the year of 1905, faced the terrible reality. Through this incident, our patriots began to gather in Yeonhaeju, Russia. However, because of the change of the international situation, the movement by the patriots encountered a new situation. Because the World War I had drawn Czarist Russia and Japan into the collusion, the surveillance and the persecution had been continued in the two countries. The revolutions in February 1917 and in October 1917 pulled down Czarist Russia to a collapse. To the Joseon Independence Movement, the double and triple complicated changes came. Because of the political changes, the Goryeo people in the Yeonhaeju region had met and parted. But, just as, in the world history, every time an imperialism had been active, an educational movement always accompanied the process of the ethnic group s liberation movement, the Goryeo People s School in the Yeonhaeju region acted as a compass as its central role. The solidarity of the patriots for the independence of Joseon was strengthened in a different angle. Especially, every time there was a crisis of the ethnic group, the Goryeo people s school displayed its power even more strongly. The 1st generation and the 2nd generation of the Goryeo people who moved from Joseon to Yeonhaeju. For the independence of Joseon and for the ethnic group and the homeland, they dedicated a lot of the parts. But, even until now, their efforts have been remaining as the pain of the history. It is said that patriotic soldiers, the March 1st Movement, the temporary government, the men and women of the heroic and noble mind, and the independence movement activists who participated in the armed struggle reach around 3 million people. There was the investigation that, among them, the independence movement activists who sacrificed their lives for the country reach around 150,000 people. It has been estimated that it is more than this. In this way, our government, which has the noble, historical background, made the indices of over 40,000 independence movement activists. And, regarding the over 20,000 people whose services were confirmed, by reviewing them in earnest, the decorations were conferred to over 1,400 people. However, the people who received the conferments of the decorations as the independence patriots until now are merely the 15,511 people. There were patriotic martyrs who dedicated their everything for only the independence of the fatherland. Regarding the evaluation of the independence movement by these people, because it appears as the variable of the division, I feel the pain regarding the fact that it does not get evaluated as an independence movement only. Regarding the people who put forth everything, including their properties, their lives, and their families for the independence of Joseon, with what standard will they be evaluated? Because they loved the country only too much, they became the nationalists.
