성폭력 피해청소년의 임파워먼트 향상을 위한 사례연구

A Case Study to Improve the Empowerment of Juvenile Victims of Sexual Violence

본 연구의 목적은 임파워먼트를 적용하여 성폭력 피해청소년의 임파워먼트 향상에 대해 효과를 검증하기 위한 사례연구다. 본 연구는 J지역 성폭력상담센터 담당자에게 의뢰되었으며, 성폭력 피해청소년은 중2학년 여학생으로서 아버지로부터 성폭력을 당한 자녀이다. 연구기간은 2017년 2월 말부터 2017년 6월 초까지이며, 주 1회 60분씩 총 9회기를 진행하였으며 본 센터 상담실에서 실시하였다. 주관적 분석 자료는 임파워먼트 실천과정 9단계로 진행된 진행과정 기록지와 사실적 자료, 관찰자와 연구자가 직접 관찰한 기록지, 각 회기마다 작성한 경험보고서 등을 통해서 분석하였다. 연구결과는 성폭력 피해청소년의 임파워먼트가 향상되어 성폭력 피해청소년의 권리가 증진됨을 알 수 있었고, 임파워먼트 실천 진행과정에서 자기효능감을 높이고 상황에 대해 현실적이고 적극적으로 대처할 수 있는 역량을 제공하게 되었다. 또한 잠재해 있는 능력을 향상시키고 기회의 창출을 통해 개인이 가지고 있는 힘을 얻게 되는 것으로 긍정적인 효과로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 어려운 환경 속에도 불구하고 성폭력 피해청소년의 정서적, 심리적인 부분을 다루는 교정기관 또는 상담관련 임상실천 현장에서 본 프로그램의 활용 가능성을 제시하는 데에 의의와 큰 성과라 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 제언은 성폭력 피해청소년에 따른 맞춤형 상담프로그램이 다양한 연구방법으로 개발되어야 하며, 지역사회의 교정상담 전문 인력을 활용하여 지속적으로 유기적 협력체계를 구축해야 한다. 또한, 교정기관 또는 상담기관 현장에서 성폭력 피해청소년에 대한 긍정적 인식과 가족에 대한 체계적 관점의 사고가 필요하며, 사례관리를 통해 사후관리가 매우 중요하다고 사료된다.

The aim of this case study is to verify the effectiveness of improving the empowerment of juveniles affected by sexual violence by applying empowerment technigues. The research was commissioned by a staff member of the sexual violence center at J area. The victim was a middle school girl sexually assaulted by her father. From February 2017 to the beginning of June 2017, the study was conducted for nine sessions 60 minutes per week. Subjective data were analyzed through the records of progress made in the 9 stages of the empowerment practice, actual data and records observed directly by observers and researchers, and experience reports prepared in each session. The results showed that the empowerment of sexual victims was improved and their rights were improved. In the empowerment practice process, The results were increased our self-efficacy and provided the ability to cope with the situation realistically and actively. It showed to have a positive effect by improving the latent ability and gaining the power that an individual has through the creation of opportunities. This study is an achievement in presenting the usability of this program at a correction or counseling-related clinical practice that deals with emotional and psychological aspects of sexual victims. The proposal should develop customized counseling programs according to the victims through various research methods, and should continue to establish an organic cooperation system by utilizing the experts in community counseling. It is necessary to have a positive perception of sexual victims and a systematic view of the family at the site of a correctional or counseling center where post-management is important through case management.
