[그림책, 길을 걷다] 인문 활동 사례 분석 :문화역사활동이론(CHAT)의 관점에서

A case study of human activities with the picturebooks: From cultural-historical activity theory perspective

본 논문은 최근 문화예술교육과 인문 활동에서 부각되고 있는 그림책 인문 활동에 대한 체계분석을 통해, 기존의 문화예술교육이나 인문 활동이 본연의 목적에 더 부합하고 창의적인 전환을 이룰 수 있도록 하는 근거와 토대를 찾아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 새로운 문화예술교육 실천및 인문 활동의 출현은 당시의 사회문화적 맥락과 배경을 기반으로 하며, 그 시대를 살고 있는사람들의 심리적 필요나 요구와 무관하지 않다. 그러므로 어떤 구조와 맥락 속에서 새로운 문화예술 실천이 일어나는 지를 파악하는 것은 문화예술교육적 측면에서 의미 있는 일이 될 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 인문 활동의 체계 분석을 위해 문화역사활동이론(CHAT : cultural-historical activity theory)을 분석의 틀로 사용하였다. 비고츠키 ‘활동체계’ , 레온티브‘활동이론’ , 엥게스트롬 ‘활동이론’의 관점에서 그림책 인문 활동인 [그림책, 길을 걷다]의활동 사례를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 기존의 활동체계 변인의 전환을 통해 새로운 인문 활동과문화예술교육 실천의 방안이 마련될 수 있으며, 활동체계 변인을 바꾸어 보는 시도를 통해 더깊고 의미 있는 문화예술교육 실천과 활동으로 나아갈 수 있음을 보여주었다. 논의에서는 새로운 인문 활동 체계의 모색에 어떤 요건들이 필요한지, 그리고 새로운 인문 활동의 출현과 구성이 가져다줄 수 있는 다양한 함의를 문화예술교육의 측면에서 조망해 보았다

Picture books are currently emerging not only as a subject of human activities, but also as an important theme in culture & arts education. When a new kind of human activities emerges, it is always based on the socio-cultural context, and therefore shows what the psychological needs of the society are. For the reason, it is important to define from which structure and context the new cultural and artistic practices begin. This study aims to analyze the foundation of the existing human activities with picture books, therefore to suggest an alternative structure for the human activities programs and culture & arts education, which would help current practices to make a creative conversion and better achieve the objectives. Single case, considered as the new cultural artistic movements in the CHAT : cultural-historical activity theory perspective, were analyzed: Walking with the Picture Books . As a result, it is shown that changing the variables of the activity system can develop existing activities into a deeper level, can also generate original activities and new culturally artistic practices. In the further discussion, this paper views the factors that are required for further research on the new human activities, and the value of this structure of human activity in culture & arts education society and picture book field.
