하브루타 토론 활동이 보육교사의 비판적 사고 성향과 문제해결력에 미치는 효과

The effect of Havruta discussion activities on critical thinking dispositions and problem solving abilities of child care teachers

본 연구는 하브루타 토론 활동이 보육교사의 비판적 사고 성향과 문제해결력을 향상하는데 효과가 있는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 교육대학원에서 유아교육을 전공하는 보육교사 51명을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 구분하고, 실험집단에 하브루타 토론 활동을 주 1회 10주간 실시하였다. 실험 전과 후에 실험집단과 통제집단에 비판적 사고 성향과 문제해결력 검사를 실시하여 비교한 결과, 실험집단에서 비판적 사고 성향과 문제해결력 수준이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 이는 하브루타 토론 활동이 보육교사의 비판적 사고 성향과 문제해결력 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 시사하며, 보육교사의 전문성 증진을 위한 방안으로 활용 가치가 있음을 보여준다.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the Havruta discussion activity affects improving the critical thinking dispositions and the problem-solving abilities of child care teachers. To this end, 51 child care teachers, majoring in early childhood education at a Graduate School of Education, were divided into the experimental and control groups. The experimental group participated in Havruta discussions once a week for 10 weeks. As a result of comparing critical thinking dispositions and problem-solving ability tests before and after the experiment, critical thinking dispositions and problem-solving ability were significantly improved in the experimental group. The result suggested that the Havruta discussion activity has a positive effect on improving the critical thinking dispositions and problem-solving abilitiy of child care teachers and that it is valuable in enhancing the professionalism of child care teachers.
