The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of food art therapy program on emotional intelligence and peer relationship improvement in elementary child-care class children’s. They consisted of 8 experimental groups with food art therapy programs and 8 control groups without food art therapy programs. The food art therapy program was reconstructed by the researcher based on the previous research, so that it was suitable for improving the emotional intelligence and peer relationship, reflecting the developmental stage of the elementary school 1st and 2nd grade children’s. Therefore, this study proved that food art therapy program has a positive effect on improvement of emotional intelligence and peer relationship of elementary school students using caring classroom. The purpose of this study is to provide basic research data on the concept of systematic food art therapy program and to contribute to the school adaptation and healthy development of children’s using child-care classroom.
