예비유아교사 인성교육을 위한 인성 덕목과 교과목 연계

The connection between the virtues and the subjects for character education of pre-early childhood teachers

본 연구는 예비유아교사 인성교육의 지속성을 위해 인성교육 덕목 추출 후 교사교육과 정의 교과목과 연계하고 적합한 지도방법을 알아보고자 설계되었다. 연구 대상은 교수, 유아교육기관 원장으로 구성된 유아교육 전문가 29명이었고, 3차에 걸친 델파이 검사를 실시하여 자료 분석하였다. 1차 검사에서 유아교사의 인성교육에 필요한 덕목을 추출하였고, 2차 검사는 1차 검사의 결과를 유목화한 후, 인성 덕목 지도방법, 그리고 교육부가 고시한 유치원 교사 양성 교육과정 중 기본이수과목, 교직과목과 연계할 수 있는 인성덕목을 묻는 문항으로 구성되었다. 마지막으로 3차 검사에서는 교과목과 인성 덕목을 연계한 문항의 적합도를 알아보았다. 연구결과, 예비유아교사의 인성교육을 위한 덕목으로는 총 14가지(책임, 사랑, 공감, 배려, 존중, 정직, 협력, 자기조절, 예절, 성실, 감사, 인내, 공정, 나눔)로 나타났고, 이를 가르치기 위한 지도방법으로는 직접경험, 협동활동, 토론 및 발표, 멘토링, 모델링, 저널 쓰기, 봉사활동, 브레인스토밍, 역할극, 이미지 메이킹, 동아리활동, 강의, 간접경험이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 델파이 기준을 충족하지 못한 1개 덕목을 제외한 13개 덕목을 인성교육을 위해 13개 교과목과 연계할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에 따라 교육과정의 교과목과 연계하여 대학의 교육연한동안 지속적으로 인성교육을 실시한다면 예비교사의 바른 인성을 증진시키는데 일조할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

The study was designed to connect the virtues of character education and the curriculum subjects of early childhood education. The subjects were 29 E.C.E. experts. The study was carried and analyzed by 3 level Delfi tests. From the 1st, the virtues and the teaching methods of character education were selected. By the 2nd test, the subjects of required and teaching courses notified by the Ministry of Education of Korea connected to the selected virtues. The goodness of fit test was searched by the 3rd test. As a result, 14 virtues(responsibility, love, sympathy, consideration, respect, honesty, cooperation, self-regulation, etiquette, sincerity, gratitude, patience, justice, sharing) were selected. To teach these virtues, direct experience, cooperative activities, discussion and presentation, mentoring, modelling, journal writing, volunteer work, brainstorming, role play, image making, club activities, attending lectures, indirect experience etc. were suggested as a teaching method. One out of 14 virtues, sincerity, was deleted because of not being sufficient for the delfi standard. Consequently, 13 subjects were matched for the 13 virtues. This result might improve the preteachers’character if subject related virture activities carried out persistently for the whole period of attendance at college.
