The objective of this study was to determine the theological significance and implications expressed in the Aramaic term מאן related to worship in the context of Daniel. The study through the utilization of a contextual study has drawn out some theological significance and implications of worship in Daniel. Since the audience of the Aramaic section of the book of Daniel seemed to be the heathen and the ANE people, the worship term is used in a unique way of introducing the people to the God of heaven. God’s temple and the holy vessels in them are considered sacred solely for the worship purposes of God. They indicate the parody of the true worship as a clear horror sign fulfilling the punishment of God for the sins of the Jewish people of Israel and Judah.
