본 연구는 ``일 자유의지 척도(Work Volition Scale - Student Version: WVS-SV)``를 번안 및 타당화 하고자 진행되었다. 서울 소재 대학교에서 남녀 대학생 107명(남 42명, 여 65명)을 대상으로 번안된 척도를 실시하여 탐색적 요인분석이 실시되었다. 분석 결과, 기존 WVS-SV의 16문항 중 낮은 부하량을 보인 한 문항(10번)을 제거하고, 최종 2요인15문항으로 결정되었다. 2요인은 제약과 의지로, 각각 7개와 8개 문항으로 구성되었다. 내적일관성 신뢰도(Cronbach``s a)를 산출한 결과, 전체 .87로 제약요인은 .83 그리고 의지요인은 .82로 양호한 수준으로 나타났다. 다음 단계로 또 다른 100명의 대학생(남 35명, 여 65명)을 대상으로 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 모형수정 단계를 거쳐 2요인 15문항의 적합도가 유의하게 검증되었고, 모형의 간명성이 입증되었다. 수렴타당도 검증을 위해 진로장벽, 내적통제성, 진로결정자기효능감과 단순상관분석을 실시한 결과 유의한 상관이 확인되어 타당도가 검증되었다. 공존타당도 확인결과, 진로적응성, 진로독립성, 삶의 만족과 유의한 상관이 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 국내에서 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증된 WVS-SV척도는 대학생들이 제약 상황에도 불구하고 스스로 직업적 결정을 내리는 능력이 있는지를 확인할수 있게 한다. 이는 진로상담 및 교육 장면에서 효율적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 예상한다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구에 대한 시사점과 후속연구를 위한 제언, 한계점을 논하였다.
The purpose of this study is to verify the reliability and validity of Korean version of the Work Volition Scale - Student Version(K-WVS-SV). A total of 107 university students(men=42, women=65) in Seoul, Korea responded to the survey packet. The explorary factor analysis results the two-factor structure of the K-WVS-SV as same as the original measure of WVS-SV. Subscales are(1) Constraints and(2) Volition. However, 1 item(#10) which is low loaded on factor is eliminated among 16 items. The WVS-SV`s internal consistency(Cronbach`s a = .87) is confirmed. Confirmatory factor analyses conducted to 100 college students. After model modification step, the results indicated that the two-factor model proved good fit to the data. In addition, correlation estimates of the K-WVS-SV showed good for convergent validity and criterion-related validity. Results from this study established the strong internal consistency and validity of the K-WVS-SV. Implication including the utility of the scale in Korea and limitation of the study were discussed with some suggestions for future researches and practices.
