가사·실업계열 특성화고 학과체제 개편을 위한 학교컨설팅 연구: 울산광역시 사례를 중심으로

Study of Home-Economics-Specialized Vocational Hish School Consulting for Reforming School Departments centered in Ulsan

본 연구에서는 울산시의 가사·실업계열 특성화고 2개교 사례를 중심으로 학교 역량을 강화시키고자 학과 체제 개편 등과 관련하여 학교컨설팅이 어떻게 진행되는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 가사·실업계열 A, B고교를 대상으로 학교컨설팅을 실시하고 그 절차와 내용을 탐색하였다. 먼저 선행연구 고찰을 통해 학교컨설팅 모델과 수행기법을 구안하고 이를 바탕으로 착수, 문제 진단, 대안수립, 해결방안 실행지원, 종료의 5단계에 따라 컨설팅을 실시하고 그 과정과 결과를 탐색하였다. 이 과정에서 관련계열 컨설턴트 2인이 컨설팅요청서를 분석하였으며, 직접 학교를 방문하여 교사, 관리자와의 면담을 통해 학교 문제를 진단하고 개선방안을 마련하였다. 그리고 농생명, 공업, 상업정보, 가사·실업계열 직업교육 전문가 6인의 공동논의를 통해 개선방안에 대한 타당성을 검증하였고, 공청회를 통하여 수립된 대안이 적용될 시 예측되는 문제점에 대한 논의를 하였다. 컨설팅 결과 A고교의 경우 의상디자인과, 조리과, 실내디자인과, 보육과, 관광과로 학과를 재정비하는 등 가사·실업계와 관련된 학과를 모두 개설하여 운영함으로써 학교의 정체성을 찾고 가사·실업계열 특성화고의 모델로서의 경쟁력을 제고하는 방안을 제안하였다. 그리고 B고교의 경우 현재 3개 계열의 교육과정을 운영하는 데 따른 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 2개 계열의 교육과정을 운영할 것과 저출산·고령화 사회와 변화하는 산업체의 현황을 고려하여 학과를 개편할 것을 제안하였다. 이상과 같은 컨설팅 사례 분석 결과는 향후 가사·실업계열 특성화고 컨설팅 연구의 기초자료를 제공할 것으로 기대하며 궁극적으로는 학교의 역량을 강화하고 산업체에서 요구하는 맞춤형 인력을 양성하는 교육모델을 탐색할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

In the study we tried to strengthen the ability of school and analyzed the problem related the management of curriculum and explored about the more future oriented reorganization plan of the structure of school departments in the home-economics-specialized vocational high school. For this, we consulted two vocational high schools in U city and examined the procedure and contents. First, we made the consulting model of school and performance techniques through the examination of precedence studies. Then we consulted according to the 5 steps of outset, diagnosis of problems, establishment of alternative plans, supporting the execution of solutions, and completion and presented the process and the results. In the process two consultants analyzed the request of school consulting, and we visited the school by ourselves and diagnosed the school problems and suggested the improvement plans through the analysis of teachers` requirement and problems. And we tested the validity of the improvement plans through the discussion of six vocational education specialists in agriculture, industry, business, and home economics, and suggested the growth plans of A, B high school respectively should be performed on a short-term and a medium-and long-term basis. In the case of A high school, we suggested the plans raising the competitiveness as model of the home-economics-specialized vocational high school and finding the identity of the school by opening and managing all home-economics-related school departments such as reforming their school departments to the department of dress design, culinary training, interior design, child care, tourism etc. In the case of B high school, we suggested that they should manage two kinds of curriculum to solve the problem caused by managing three kinds of curriculum currently. We expect that these analysis results of consulting case can provide the basic data for the consulting study of home-economics-related high schools after this, and we expect finally that they can strength their school ability and foster the human resources being required in various industries.
