의미망 분석을 이용한 전국 고등학교 직업교육 연구대회 출품작 분석

An Semantic Network Analysis of the National High-School Vocational Education Teaching Methods Competition

이 연구는 네트워크 텍스트 분석방법을 이용하여 전국 고등학교 직업교육 연구대회의 경향을 분석함으로써, 향후 본 연구대회를 통한 산출물의 활용 효과를 높이고 대회운영의 개선방안을 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 2001년부터 2012년까지 전국 고등학교 직업교육 연구대회에 출품된 작품 중에서 수상작품의 제목을 대상으로 네트워크 텍스트 분석방법을 적용하여 우수사례에 활용된 교수·학습 방법들에 대한 경향 분석을 하였다. 프로그램으로는 키워드 분석 프로그램인 KrKwic과 네트워크 분석 프로그램인 Ucinet을 사용하였으며, 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 텍스트 분석 및 텍스트 분석과 연계한 네트워크 분석 결과 본 연구대회 수상작 간의 뚜렷한 계열간 차이는 발생하지 않았다. 즉, 공업, 상업 등 계열간 연구대회 수상작의 핵심어의 종류 및 특징 차이는 미미한 것으로 보인다. 둘째, 전국 고등학교 직업교육 연구대회에서 제시된 여러 출품작품들의 경향 중 주목할 만한 부분은 ‘능력’, ‘직업’, ‘교수’, ‘기초’, ‘수업’을 허브로 하는 네트워크가 형성되어 있다는 점이다. 이 핵심어는 직업교육을 담당하는 일선 고등학교 수업현장에서 중요시 하는 키워드이며, 특히 ‘수업’, ‘교수’, ‘직업’과 같은 핵심어 외에 ‘능력’, ‘기초’ 최근의 ‘역량중심’ 교육과 ‘직업기초능력’의 개념이 학교 현장에 뿌리내리고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 네트워크의 확산을 이끌어 내는 클러스트 1의 ‘교수’의 경우, ‘ICT’, ‘실습’, ‘모듈’과의 결합, 클러스트의 5의 ‘직업기초능력’의 경우, ‘직업’, ‘창의’, ‘융합’과의 결합, 그리고 클러스트 4의 ‘취업’의 경우 별도의 허브를 구축해나가고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 위와 같은 분석방법은 기존의 문헌연구 방법과 달리, 핵심어 및 핵심어간의 관계를 정량화된 방법으로 분석하였다는 점에서 차별성을 갖는다.

The Purpose of this study is to offer useful information to find a trend of this National High-School Vocational Education Teaching Methods Competition programs(2001-2012). By using the analysis of semantic network, we expect to get a highly systemic and quantitative results and apply these to this program in operative levels. Both KrKwic for analysing keyword and Ucinet for network analysis are used in this study. The results of this study are stated belows. First, there are few difference among sections which is traditionally categorized functionally in vocational education areas such as industrial, commercial, agriculture, ect. Second, some key words such as ‘competency’, ‘occupation’, ‘teaching’, ‘basic’ and ‘class’ are located in hub area of the network. These words are important keyword which commonly used in school. Especially, not only ‘class’, ‘teaching’, ‘occupation’, but also ‘competence’, ‘basic’, recently ‘competency based’ education and ‘occupational basic competency’ are frequently-used in school. Third, there are also meaningful connections among some key words. For example, in cluster 1, ‘teaching’, the main keyword, are connected to ‘ICT’, ‘Practice’, ‘module’. In addition, in cluster 5, ‘core competency’, the main keyword is related to ‘occupation’, ‘creativeness’, ‘fusion’. Especially, in cluster 4, ‘employment’, is peculiar keyword because this word itself start to construct its own hub in the network. These analysis methods are meaningful because they can analysis the keyword in a quantitative way, which traditionally other most researchers just relied on content analysis methods.
