Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to job stress and job satisfaction of university hospital workers, and to find ways to improve job satisfaction and to use them as basic data to contribute to the quality of hospital medical service. Methods: A total of 141 people who agreed to fill out the questionnaire were analyzed for workers in university hospitals. The survey was conducted with 6 general characteristics, 15 job stress and 15 job satisfaction. Data analysis was performed using frequency analysis, percentage, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. Results: In terms of gender, women had high levels of job stress, nurses in charge, and general jobs in job positions. Job satisfaction and job stress showed a significant negative correlation, and the higher the organizational job stress, the lower the job satisfaction (p<.05). As a result of analyzing related variables affecting job satisfaction, the general characteristics and job stress variables explained 39.7% of job satisfaction appeared to give. Conclusion: Various programs related to management of job stress and improvement of job satisfaction are required, and repeated research is also required for cause analysis and problem solving.
