대학생의 주관적 안녕감과 사회인지적 변인 간의 구조관계 분석

A Structural Model of Subjective Well-Being and Social Cognitive variables

본 연구는 Lent의 안녕감(well-being)에 대한 통합모형(2004)을 토대로 대학생의 주관적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 주요 변인들과 이들 변인 간의 구조적 관계를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 주관적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 주요 변인으로 자기효능감과 결과기대 및 진로만족을 상정하였고, 이에 자기효능감과 주관적 안녕감 간의 직접적인 경로를 추가로 설정하여 이 모형의 적합도와 이들 변인 간의 구조적 관계를 검증하였다. 4년제 대학에 재학중인 대학생들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, 수집된 자료 중 총 340명의 자료를 SPSS 20.0 프로그램과 AMOS 20.0프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 본 연구의 모형은 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연구모형 검증에서 자기효능감과 결과기대, 진로만족 및 주관적 안녕감 간의 모든 경로가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 자기효능감과 결과기대가 높을수록 진로만족이 높아지며, 자기효능감과 결과기대, 진로만족이 높을수록 주관적 안녕감도 높아진다는 것을 의미한다. 즉 자신이 잘 할 수 있다고 생각하고 학업 및 전공에 대해 긍정적인 결과를 기대할수록자신의 전공이나 진로에 대해 만족하고 전반적인 삶에 대해서도 만족하며 긍정적인 정서를 갖게 된다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 주관적 안녕감에 대한 자기효능감의 직접적인 경로가 유의한 것으로 나타난 바, Lent의 안녕감에 대한 통합모형(2004)의 적용에 있어서 이에 대한 고려가 필요하다는 것을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속 연구방향에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships of self-efficacy, outcome expectations and career satisfaction to subjective well-being of university students. The predictors, drawn from Lent`s unifying perspective on well-being and psychosocial adjustment, include social cognitive variables(self-efficacy, outcome expectations) that have previously been shown to relate to domain and life satisfaction. Added the directional path between self-efficacy and subjective well-being. Participants were 340 university students. Structural equation modeling results supported the overall model, including the posited directional path between self-efficacy and subjective well-being. As expected self-efficacy, outcome expectations were predictive of career satisfaction, and the latter was predictive of student`s subjective well-being. The limitations and implications of the study were discussed.
