대한민국명장의 역량 요구 분석

Analysis of Competency Needs for Korea Masters

이 연구는 산업현장의 혁신자로서의 역할 요구 등 변화하는 정책적 수요에 맞춘 대한민국명장의 역량 요구도와 우선순위를 분석하여 대한민국명장의 역량개발의 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대한민국명장 204명을 대상으로 요구역량을 분석하였다. 대한민국명장의 역량 요구를 분석하기 위한 역량모형은 대한민국명장이 산업현장에 종사한다는 점을 고려하여 기업체 근로자의 역량모형을 활용하였으며, 구체적으로 4개영역의 32개 역량에 대하여 분석하였다. 역량 요구의 우선순위 분석을 위해서는 t검정, Borich의 요구도 및 The Locus for Focus 모델 등 크게 5가지의 분석절차가 활용되었다. 분석결과에 따르면, 대한민국명장에게는 목표설정이 최우선순위 역량으로, 그 외에 10개 역량인 사업 및 시장 통찰력, 비전수립 및 제시, 전략적 계획수립, 변화주도, 정보수집과 분석, 업무의사결정, 전문지식, 고객지향, 자기계발, 창의성 역량이 차순위 요구 역량으로 도출되었다. 이러한 분석 결과는 향후 대한민국명장의 역량 강화 관련 교육 시 목표설정 및 사업 및 시장 통찰력, 비전수립 및 제시, 전략적 계획수립, 변화주도, 정보수집과 분석, 업무의사결정, 전문지식, 고객지향, 자기계발, 창의성 역량을 우선적으로 실시하는 형태로 운영할 필요가 있다는 시사점을 주는 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate competency needs and priorities for Korea Masters, so that some suggestions were made for Korea Master`s competency development. A survey was conducted to examine the required and current levels of Korea Master`s competencies, based upon the worker`s competency model made by Joo et al(2009). Survey questionnaires were distributed to 204 Korea Masters. The research methods in this study included the following steps: (1) screening the tendency of needs(=gaps) through t-test, (2) prioritizing needs by using Borich`s educational need equation, (3) identifying needs and its numbers fell into the HH sector of a scatter diagram, (4) double checking the rank orders of Borich`s equation according to the number of needs fell into the HH sector, and (5) identifying the highest priority among needs if needs are appeared as highly ranked on both methods and the second priority with needs that are shown as highly ranked on only one method. The results of this study showed that entire respondents of Korea Masters ‘goal setting’ perceived as top five priority of competencies for Korea Masters. 10 competencies are the second. This study provided some suggestions for Korea Master`s competency.
