‘발명·특허 기초’에 대한 발명 교육 참여 교사의 교원 연수 프로그램에 대한 교육요구도 분석

An Analysis of Teachers’ Educational Needs on ‘Introductory of Invention and Patent’ in Invention Education

이 연구의 목적은 발명·특허 인식 제고와 발명·특허 인력 저변 확대를 위하여 교육 현장에 보급되고 있는 ``발명·특허 기초`` 교과서에 대해서 발명 교육 참여 교사들의 교육요구도를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 ``발명·특허기초``의 12개 모듈 주제에 대해서 발명교육 참여 교사들이 인식하는 중요도와 자신의 능력 수준에 대해서 조사하였으며 그 결과를 토대로 교육요구도를 분석하였다. 조사 대상은 한국발명진흥회 주관의 발명 교육 확산을 위한 3개 사업에 참여하고 있는 교사 120명을 대상으로 하였으며, 결과 분석에는 92명의 응답결과가 활용되었다. 이 연구의 주요 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 발명교육 참여 교사가 인식하는 각 모듈 주제별 중요도는 참여 사업 구분, 성별, 교육 경력, 발명 관련 활동참여 여부에 따라 모듈 주제별로 차이가 있다. 둘째, 발명교육 참여 교사가 인식하는 각 모듈 주제별 자신의 능력 수준은 참여 사업 구분, 최종 학력, 교육 경력, 담당 교과, 담당 과목, 근무 지역, 발명 교육 경력, 발명 관련 연수 경험, 발명 관련 활동 참여 여부에 따라 모듈 주제별로 차이가 있다. 셋째, 발명·특허 기초의 전체 모듈 주제에 대해서 중요도는 높게 인식하고 있으나 발명 교육 참여 교사가 인식하는 자신의 능력 수준은 낮게 인식함에 따라 교육요구도가 높게 나타났다. 특히 ``TRIZ 활용``, ``특허 정보의 검색과 출원``, ``창의적 공학설계 실습``, ``TRIZ 이해`` 순으로 교육요구도가 높게 나타났으며, ``발명과 물리/화학``과 ``발명과 특허의 이해와 역사``에 대한 교육요구도는 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 이상의 결론을 바탕으로 발명교육 담당 교원의 발명교육 역랑 제고를 위하여 교원 양성 과정 또는 직무 연수 과정등의 지속적인 역량 제고 시스템 마련과 배경 변인별 집단 간 차이를 반영하여 다양한 발명 관련 행사 및 활동에 대해서 발명 교육 담당 교원들의 참여 기회 확대를 제언하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to make an analysis of teachers` educational needs on textbook of ``Introductory of Invention and Patent``, which has been used in educational field in order to help general understanding of public awareness and to expand basis of workforce in a subject of invention and patent. In particular, 12 modules of themes in ``Introductory of Invention and patent`` were surveyed by teachers of invention education who participated in for this study. The critical analysis which teachers recognized and also, their level of ability were explored leading analysis of educational needs. In specific, participants of this study were 120 teachers who participated in 3 projects hosted by Korea Invention Promotion Association to improve invention education. Data collected from 92 teachers were used for further analysis. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, the level of importance in each module`s subject was different depending on characteristics of projects, sex, educational experience, and participation in invention-related activities. Second, the level of ability that teachers recognized was different depending on characteristics of project, the highest level of education, educational experience, teaching curriculum, teaching subject, the region they work, educational experience in invention education, experience of invention-related training, and participation in invention-related activities. Finally, educational analysis turned out to be high; the level of importance regarding whole module subjects in introductory of invention and patent was recognized high, while the level of ability teachers who participated in invention education received low recognition. Based on the analysis of this study, this study suggests enhancing system of capability continuously through teacher training program or duty training program as well as expanding teachers` opportunity to participate in a variety of invention-related events or activities, reflecting differences of group in variables of its background.
