초등학생의 진로자기효능감 향상을 위한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 활용 집단상담 프로그램 개발 및 효과분석

The Development of A Group Counseling Program Using Computer Simulation to Improve Career Self-Efficacy of Elementary School Students

이 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 진로자기효능감 향상을 위한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 활용 집단상담 프로그램을 구안하고 실시하여 진로자기효능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하는데 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 첫 번째, 조사단계에서는 선행 연구 고찰을 통해 이론적 근거를 마련하였다. 또한 연구 대상인 초등학생을 대상으로 진로자기효능감 향상 프로그램에 대한 요구조사를 실시하였다. 두 번째, 분석단계에서는 프로그램의 목표를 진술하고 하위 구성요소를 선정·조직하였다. 세 번째, 설계단계에서는 프로그램에 활용할 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 선정하였으며 프로그램의 전체구성과 제시전략을 설계하였다. 네 번째, 구안단계에서는 회기별 프로그램의 시안을 작성하여 전문가의 검토를 받았다. 그리고 실험·통제집단이 아닌 제 3의 집단을 대상으로 프로그램 예비 적용 후 수정·보완하여 최종 프로그램을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 적용단계에서는 프로그램을 적용한 후 그 효과를 검증하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 총 10회기로, 1회기 오리엔테이션, 2～3회기 진로탐색효능감, 4～6회기 진로결정효능감, 그리고 7～9회기 진로수행효능감을 향상시키기 위한 회기를 거쳐 마지막으로 10회기의 종결 회기로 구성하였다. 프로그램의 효과검증은 초등학교 5학년 2개 학급을 대상으로 실시하였다. 실험결과, 실험집단과 통제집단의 진로자기효능감의 3가지 하위영역인 진로탐색효능감, 진로결정효능감, 진로수행효능감의 평균점수 차이가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 개발된 프로그램이 초등학생들의 진로자기효능감을 향상시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 해석할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to develop and implement a group counseling program using computer simulation to improve career self-efficacy of elementary school students, and to measure its effect. For this research, 5th grade students from G elementary school, located in Seoul, South Korea, participated in this study. The students were divided into two groups; 25 in the experimental group and 25 in the control group. The developed program used is based on the Consultation Program Development Model by Park In-u(1995). The program was implemented during the discretionary activity classes, two times a week, from September 3rd to October 12th; totalling 10 sessions. The test tool, ``Career Self-Efficacy Scale for High School Students,`` by Park Myung-Sim and Kim Seong-Hoy(2006), amended by Kim Yun-Ju(2010), was refined for this study. The obtained results from this research are as follows: There were significant differences in career self-efficacy between the experimental group and the control group. The analysis of the sub area report also showed that there were significant differences in ``Career Search Self-Efficacy, Career Decision Self-Efficacy, and Career Performance Self-Efficacy`` between the experimental group and the control group. According to the experience reports and the observations by the counselors, this program also has a positive effect on improving career self-efficacy for elementary school students. From the results, the drawn implications are the developed computer simulation program to improve career self-efficacy of elementary school students; this is the first time material has been provided to use the computer simulation program for career counseling in elementary school.
