전문직 은퇴자의 성공적 노화에 미치는 영향 요인 분석

The Analysis of Factors Affecting Successful Aging in Professional Retirees

본 연구에서는 전문직 은퇴자의 노년기 인식 유형, 성공적 노화 만족도 수준 및 성공적 노화에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 313명의 전문직 은퇴자를 대상으로 설문조사를 한 결과에 따르면, 전문직 은퇴자들의 노년기에 대한 인식은 초월자와 생산자 유형이 많았고 적응자와 실패자는 상대적으로 적은 것으로 나타났다. 성공적 노화만족도 수준은 3.55점(5점 척도 기준)으로 나타났는데 가족화목요인과 신체적 건강요인에 대하여 만족도가 높았고, 경제적 활동에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 성공적 노화에 정적 영향을 주는 요인으로는 초월자, 배우자유무, 재정준비, 건강, 경제적 활동 참여, 교육 참여 등이었으며 부적영향을 주는 요인으로는 적응자, 실패자 유형으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 전문직 은퇴자의 성공적 노화 요인을 개발했다는 점과 영향요인의 탐색을 통하여 성공적 노화 준비도의 측정과 성공적 노화의 지원체계의 기초자료를 마련하였다는 점이다.

The purpose of this study was to examine professional retirees` perception on older age after their retirement, satisfaction levels of successful aging, and the factors affecting their successful aging. For this purpose, three hundreds and thirteen retirees were responded on the questionnaire. Major findings were as follows. First, professional retirees perceived older age as transcendence and production models rather than loser or adaptation models. Second, their average satisfaction level of successful aging was 3.55(5 point Likert scale). The degrees of satisfaction about family harmony and health components of successful aging were very high and that of the economic activity component was very low. The factors affecting successful aging were turned out transcendence model, spouse, financial plan, health, participation in formal education, participation in economic activities, and loser and adaptation models. This study would be meaningful in providing a reference for a successful aging scale for professional retirees.
