이 연구는 직업훈련교사의 직무스트레스 수준을 측정하고, 교사의 배경변인에 따른 직무스트레스 차이를 구명함으로써 향후 직업훈련교사와 관련된 정책과 제도개선에 유용한 시사점을 제공하기 위한 것이었다. 이를 위해 고용노동부가 지원하는 국가기간·전략산업직종훈련을 실시하고 있는 직업훈련교사(667명)를 대상으로, 11개 직무스트레스 하위요인으로 구성된 설문조사를 실시하였고, 회수된 자료(243명)는 SPSS win 15.0을 이용하여 통계처리를 실시하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결과는 첫째, 직업훈련교사의 전반적인 직무스트레스는 5점 척도기준 평균 3.58로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 하위요인별 직무스트레스로는 정부정책 운영이 4.36으로 매우 높게 나타났고, 다음으로 정부평가 및 심사(4.23), 훈련성과 관리(3.96), 낮은 대우 및 고용불안(3.96), 업무과중(3.62), 학급 및 훈련생 관리(3.61), 진로 및 취업지도(3.60), 관료적 운영(3.48) 등의 순으로 직무스트레스가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 직업훈련교사의 배경변인에 따라서는 연령이 낮고 경력이 짧고 비정규직이고 민간기관 일수록 낮은 대우 및 고용불안에서 스트레스 차이가 나타났고, 경력이 길고 겸임·전임교사이고 공공기관 일수록 권위상실에서 직무스트레스 차이를 보였다.
The purpose of this study was to measure the level of job stress of Technical and Vocational Education and Training(TVET) teachers, and to look deep into the difference of job stress according to background variables of TVET teachers, and then to provide useful suggestions improving policies and institutions related to TVET teachers in the future. The object of the study was 667 TEVT teachers providing Training of National Infrastructure and Strategy Industries supported by Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the survey research consisting of 11 job stress factors was conducted, and then the respondent was 243 TEVT teachers. The result of review were as follows. First, the level of TVET teachers` overall job stress showed high by 3.58 on the average based on five-point scale. Second, Government Policy Operations among the job stress factors was very high by 4.36, in sequence, the order of job stress`s level was Government Evaluation and Assessment (4.23), Training Performance Management (3.96), Low Treatment and Employment Insecurity (3.96), Work Overload (3.62), Class and Trainee Management (3.61), Career and Employment Guidance (3.60), Bureaucratic Operation (3.48). Third, according to background variables of TVET teachers, the more TVET teachers were lower age and irregular teacher, had shorter experience, and worked for private TVET schools, the higher the level of TVET teachers` job stress was in the factor of Low Treatment and Employment Insecurity. On the other hand, the more TVET teachers had longer career, were class teachers and worked for public TVET schools, the higher the level of TVET teachers` job stress was in the factor of Loss of Authority.
