제조업 분야 전문기능보유자의 경력개발 모델 연구 -경력단계별 촉진,장애요인, 주요과업을 중심(中心)으로-

The Career Development Model of Korean Technical Experts in the Manufacture Industry -Career Barriers, Facilitators, and Career Development Task Based on Career Stages-

이 연구의 목적은 제조업 종사자 중 전문 기능보유자(기능장·기술사·명장)를 대상으로 현재 직업현장에서 성공적으로 일하는 사례를 발굴하여 이들의 경력개발 과정을 경력단계별로 구분하고 각 단계별 촉진 및 장애요인, 그리고 주요과업을 분석함으로 제조업분야 기능보유자의 성공적인 경력개발 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 제조업 전문 기능보유자 57명을 대상으로 FGI(Focus Group Interview)와 심층 면담을 반구조화 설문지를 통하여 실시하였다. 이 연구 결과는 두 가지 측면에서 주요한 의의를 지닌다. 첫째는 국가 정책 개발 측면에서 전문 기능보유자의 지속적 경력개발을 지원하는 국가의 구체적 전략 수립과 청소년의 제조업 기능직에 대한 흥미와 동기를 부여하는 학교 진로지도 활성화 측면에서 유용한 시사점을 제공할 것이다. 둘째는 학술적 측면에서 특정 집단의 삶 전반에 걸친 조망과 접근을 경력 단계별로 구분하여 살펴보고 단계별 주요 특징과 과업을 이해하는데 기여할 것이다.

The purpose of present study is to suggest a career development model of successful Korean technical experts in the manufacture industry by analyzing push and pull factors according to their career stages. Focused group and in-depth interview are used as research method with 57 technical experts. This research is expected to provide basic information to suggest national policies, not only to educate and motivate juvenile to get started as a technician, but also to help technical experts to develop their career consistently and effectively.
